The Belladonnas of the Red Deer Roller Derby Association along with East 40th Pub are hosting a fun filled Beer & Burger Pub Night with Silent Auction.

All proceeds will assist with the expense of travel as the Belladonnas go in to their 2013 season.

The Silent Auction will open at 5:30pm and closing bids must be placed by 8:30pm. There will be some awesome items up for auction you don’t want to miss out.

Tickets are $15.00 which gets you a burger/cheese burger with your choice of either a salad or fries along with a beer or pop. (Veggie Burgers are an option)

Through your favorite derby girl or at East 40th Pub.

We are hoping to see all of our fans & friends at this event! No one throws a better party than a Derby Girl!

Belladonnas Win at Flat Track Fever 2013

RDRDA is Proud to announce The Belladonnas won 1st place at Flat Track Fever this past weekend in Calgary. They played some amazing teams and we watched some awesome Roller Derby on Canuck Derby TV.

Great game play by The Dreadnaughts in the Men’s Tournament they played there hearts out and have made us all proud with the amount of dedication and hard-work are. The men came in 4th place but watch out they are going to be hitting this season hard and looking for a come back.

A big THANK YOU to all the volunteers that made this happen, without your support and time this great game would not be so great!

Thank you IrmaNerd for your support at the Merch table and everyone else who helped to make that weekend amazing for our teams!

Can not wait till the next one!

Dreadnaughts Presents Ladies Night!

Ladies Night For the first time in Alberta Roller Derby History, and for one nite only, ladies, and only the   ladies can get up close and personal with Red Deer’s very own Dreadnaughts!

That’s right! The Dreadnaughts present Ladies night! A 3 set extravaganza of your favorite Dreads movin and grovin in ways you have never seen on the track! And as a special treat, ladies you have been asking for this since he ever got into derby… but on second thought you’re going to have to be there to see who the special encore is!

This is the offtrack event of the year that you do not want to miss!

RDRDA own The Dreadnaughts will be taking on the River City Riot Saturday night!

RDRDA Season 5 Kickoff Scrimmage & FreshMeat Info Session January 31,2013

Red Deer Roller Derby AssociationWelcome to Season 5 RDRDA!

To kick of this season we will be holding our first CO-ED Scrimmage on Thurs Jan 31st! This is open to all RDRDA benchmarked members (insurance and dues must be up to date). Skaters from other leagues please contact Damon Nomad Roth or post a message to the event for more information.

Colors are Purple and Black please bring a shirt in both colors with appropriate name and number markings as per the new rule set.

THIS SCRIMMAGE WILL BE PLAYED BY THE 2013 UNIFIED WFTDA/MRDA RULE SET. http://wftda.com/rules

At half time will be an information Session on this springs FM program.
Red Deer Roller Derby Association is looking for tenacious and committed women and men of all skill and body types. Although helpful, no skating experience is necessary, we will teach you how to skate and play roller derby in a 12 week ‘fresh meat’ class.

RDRDA is also looking for referees! (All refs must attend fresh meat.)

RDRDA’s Fresh Meat Program requires league registration with Red Deer Roller Derby Association Fresh Meat program.

Attendance is strictly required on Thursdays 7-9pm

Starting Feb 7 and going every Thurs with the Wrap up Minty Fresh Scrimmage on Apr 25th.
